Responsible for overseeing and managing daily engineering and construction operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the daily engineering and construction operations
  • Ensure efficiency, productivity, and compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure projects meet deadlines and stay within budget
  • Identify and resolve process inefficiencies
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams
  • Oversee production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization to enhance productivity
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring material quality and availability through supplier coordination
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements to continuously optimize operations
  • Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, specifications, and safety regulations
  • Monitor project costs, subcontractor contracts, and resource allocation to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and problem-solving
  • Ensure client satisfaction by meeting project requirements and addressing concerns
  • Lead initiatives for cost reductions, process improvements, and operational excellence while maintaining client satisfaction
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in operations management, quality control, production planning, or financial oversight in construction/manufacturing

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of process optimization, inventory management, cost control, and workflow scheduling
  • Proficiency in project management, financial tracking, and operational efficiency tools
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with AutoCAD

Additional Requirements

  • Daily travel to worksites within a 70-mile radius of Austin, TX
