Dr. Amin Vahdat
Dr. Amin Vahdat is a trailblazing figure in the realm of residential engineering and construction, armed with a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, majoring in Construction Engineering and Management, from Texas A&M University.
In 2021, Amin founded Emarat, a residential construction company that has quickly become synonymous with turnkey excellence.
Emarat offers a comprehensive suite of services encompassing Engineering and Construction, providing clients with a one-stop solution for their residential dreams.
As a visionary co-founder of Texas Structural Engineers in 2019, Amin has played a pivotal role in delivering over 2000 structural projects for both residential and commercial clients in the state of Texas. The impact of this venture is further amplified by Dr. Vahdat's co-founding of Licensed Structural Engineers in 2020, operating nationally across key states—CA, FL, GA, NC, and CO—and boasting a portfolio of nearly 2000 structural projects.
Amin's influence extends beyond entrepreneurship. As an Engineering and Construction Subject Matter Expert at IBM, he had been at the forefront of guiding IBM's construction and engineering clients through the integration of technology and innovation. He was dedicated to solving industry challenges and enhancing productivity through cutting-edge technology solutions.
In his role as a Lead Project Engineer, Amin successfully managed numerous engineering and construction projects in the Oil & Gas industry. He had been an integral part of management of projects totaling $800 million and $1.6 billion, showcasing his ability to navigate the complexities of large-scale endeavors with finesse and expertise.
